Trafford South Foodbank

Every day people in the UK go hungry for reasons ranging from redundancy to receiving an unexpected bill on a low income.  Trussell Trust foodbanks provide a minimum of three days emergency food and support to people experiencing crisis in the UK.

Trafford South Foodbank is an ecumenical project between various churches in the Altrincham, Timperley, Sale and Partington area.

The distribution centre based at St Alban’s is open in the Church Hall on Wednesday mornings, 10.30 am – 12.30 pm.  Food is distributed to clients who come along with a voucher obtained from one of our authorised voucher holders.

There are four other distribution centres –

St Francis Church Centre, Sale Moor (open Mondays, 12.00 noon – 2.00 pm)

Sale West Community Centre (open Tuesdays, 11.00 am – 1.00 pm)

The Fuse at Partington (open Thursdays, 10.30 am – 12.30 pm)

Timperley Methodist Church (open Fridays, 10.00 am – 12.00 noon)

All food is donated and donations of food should be taken direct to our warehouse which is based at Timperley Methodist Church, Stockport Road, Timperley.  The opening hours are 10.00 am – 12.00 noon, Wednesday and Friday mornings.

If we have them available, we also hand out toiletries, nappies, toilet rolls, etc and donations of these items are much appreciated.
