Our family has been part of St Alban’s since 1990 and I’ve been a Lay Reader since 2002. That means I can take services and preach so it’s an upfront role but I don’t get paid for it! For my day job I work for the Environment Agency as a team leader in Environment Protection so I feel it fits in really well with our God given purpose to look after the planet. Recently, I’ve become Chaplain of the local Sea Cadet unit. I’m married to Meg and we have two teenage children. We really enjoy being part of the family at St Alban’s and made good friends. We are particularly motivated by seeing (especially young) people grow in their faith. We enjoy walking, talking, eating and growing our own.
