In 2010 my husband and I moved into the area from Scotland. As I looked after my granddaughter I decided to take her to St Albans Toddler Group, I found the volunteers so welcoming and friendly that I decided to attend the church. I had always been a Christian and gone to church, but during my time in Scotland I had lapsed. The welcome and friendliness was such that I felt right at home (having been brought up in the north west), and over the years I got more involved in church life. I am now a church warden, help to run the toddler group and thoroughly enjoy helping out at various events throughout the year. To me St Albans is like belonging to one big happy family.
